VALLEYWIDE RECYCLING PARTNERSHIP
A number of valley communities came together to form Valleywide Recycling Partnership (VRP). The goal of the Valleywide Recycling Partnership is to divert as much garbage as possible from valley landfills through public awareness campaigns and educational programs. VRP feels that by working through the partnership and combining resources, a larger number of people can be reached than by each city working individually. Through their efforts, VRP hopes to decrease the amount of recyclable materials that end up in valley landfills, increase the quality of materials collected, and increase participation rates in all the communities involved.
